The Global Conference on Land-Ocean Connections (GLOC), is being hosted by the Government of Philippines and organized by UNEP, in Manila, 23-24 January. The timing and approach of the Conference reflects the holding of the IGR-3 of the GPA, which the GLOC directly precedes, and the importance of helping to ensure a contribution from the linked marine and freshwater communities into the Rio +20 process.
